About

I spent years in crypto, dismissing Bitcoin as the old dinosaur coin while being fascinated by the seemingly shinier tech promised by alternatives like Ethereum's world computer and smart contracts. It took me a long time to understand why there's crypto and there's Bitcoin — that Bitcoin is the signal and everything else is noise. After years of exploring the space, I ironically ended up most interested in what I'd initially dismissed as outdated and more or less completely ignored.
A two-hour podcast episode on a random saturday about Bitcoin including a deep dive into inflation finally made me receptive to start understanding it more deeply. I started going down the rabbit hole and haven't stopped since. Counterintuitively, studying Bitcoin led me deep into Austrian economics, game theory, monetary history, macroeconomics, philosophy and so much more.
The information was always out there, but it took me years to find and piece together — despite having studied informatics and even taking some economics courses. Coming from a low-income, low-education background, I understand how hard it can be to find the right information and how difficult it is to build a future in an inflationary system. I realized that finding the right information is often one of the hardest parts. This project aims to help with exactly that — it doesn't have to be this hard.
This blog breaks down seemingly complex topics into digestible, bite-sized pieces. Well-researched content that's hopefully practically relevant for anyone curious enough to learn.
I'm not sure exactly where this project goes, but the foundation is simple: helping to make important knowledge more accessible.
